Guided by Lynae Of-Howl — Hag School Manager, Tech-Witch and Co-Creator of The Heathen Imaginarium — this course offers an easy-to-follow, deep dive into crafting a spellbinding, one-page website on SquareSpace. This course is especially useful for those who have studied with Danielle Dulsky and The Hag School, and are now in need of a simple, yet bewitching digital realm and web-presence for their works.


What to Expect //:

  • Our Shared Template: All web-weavers will begin from the same starting place of our custom-designed template, crafted to serve as a foundation for your personal vision and unique spell to come forth, as you learn how to make it your own.

  • Weave Your Web: Embark on a three-part journey to bring your website to life:

    1. Wrapping Roots Around Bone: Customize ‘the bones’ of your template, infusing it with your choice of color, typography and other site-wide elements.

    2. ‘Altar’ Your Site: Learn to weave unique style and captivating content into your site, ensuring every element reflects your voice and spirit. This lesson has three different demo videos, teaching tools for three different styles of website.

    3. Spellbinding Your Web: Ensure all tech-logistics are complete, then go live, with an optional spellbinding ritual.

  • Live Sessions: Between lesson release dates, we will meet on Zoom and I will take your questions and stuck points, with some live demo, to keep you moving forward.

  • E-Commerce and Blog Basics: Gain a simple yet insightful overview on how to set up an on-site store for your literary works and a blog for sharing your short-form writing. These tools will help you expand your site’s functionality and reach.

I’m just seeing this now, did I miss it?

No, this is an evergreen course. All lessons are recorded, but you may still catch some of the live sessions, which are useful for any questions or stuck points you encounter in the material. Join anytime and weave your web!

What is the format of this course?

The course contains three recorded lessons, with multiple sub-lesson recordings in each. Additionally, there are three live sessions (see dates above), to answer questions and do live demo. These will also be recorded and archived within the classroom. You will also find a form to ask course questions, within the classroom.

Is this course just for writers?

No. This course and its corresponding template design was created with writer’s needs in mind, after mutliple requests from former students of Danielle. However, anyone in need of a website will benefit from what is taught. It is meant to be bent to the needs of its creator.
